Hotels

We have arranged hotel blocks at multiple hotels in the area, you may also consider rentals on AirBnB and VRBO. There is a UVA football game at home this weekend and there is a limited number of rentals in Charlottesville, so we encourage you to book as soon as possible.

The Draftsman Hotel ($329/night): Walkable to main grounds (UVA's word for "campus") and a number of fun restaurants. Click here to access the hotel block online.

Holiday Inn Express ($259/night): This option is closer to the venue, but a bit farther from town. Click here to access the hotel block online. You also can call 1800Holiday and request a room in the Broe-Grimm Wedding block.

Getting to Charlottesville

If flying in for the wedding, you can consider both the Richmond airport and the Charlottesville–Albemarle Airport. Car rentals, taxis, and Ubers/Lyfts are available at both airports.

Charlottesville–Albemarle Airport is around a 20 minute drive from downtown Charlottesville. It is the most convenient airport to fly into, but has more limited flight options. We encourage you to book flights early.

The Richmond Airport is about a 75 minute drive from Charlottesville. This airport will generally have more flight and airline options and better prices.

There is an Amtrak train station in downtown Charlottesville. Amtrak can have some delays, but is a good option if wary of flying.

For our Atlanta guests, Charlottesville is approximately an 8 hour drive straight up I-85.

Getting Around Town

Busses will be provided from the hotels listed to the wedding venue. There is parking available at the venue, but we strongly encourage all guests not to drive. Ubers and taxis are readily available around town, but are more difficult to arrange out near the vineyard.
